Copy last season's groups
Recreate another lesson's groups in one click, without the pupils
From one season to the next, the tennis school's slots change little. The Copy groups button recreates in the open lesson the groups of another lesson: coaches, colour, number of places, days, times, court and price per session. The pupils, however, are not copied: you will place them according to the new registrations.
Copy the lesson or copy the groups? Copying a lesson (Copy a lesson for the next season) creates a new lesson with, as you choose, its registrations and groups. Copying groups is for when the new lesson already exists, with its own registrations.
1Choose the lesson to copy from
In Manage groups, open the new lesson's tab and click Copy groups. In Course to copy, choose the original lesson: the list offers all the club's lessons that have groups, the most recent first, all seasons together.

2Check the groups found
The Groups found list shows each group with its days and times, its coaches, its court, its places and its price per session. Untick the groups not to copy. For the court:
- the same court is used if it exists in the new lesson's sport-season, otherwise a court with the same name;
- otherwise the line shows Choose a court: select one, otherwise the group cannot be created.
Days without lessons (holidays) are not copied: their dates belong to the old lesson. Add them if needed in each group.
3Create the groups
Click Create n group(s). The groups appear on the board, empty and not confirmed. You still need to:
- adjust the times in the Week view (see Prepare the weekly schedule);
- place the pupils, by hand or with Suggest a placement;
- click Confirm the lessons in the bookings.
