Prepare the weekly schedule
All the groups on a days × courts grid, to move with the mouse
The Week view replaces the tennis schools' Excel spreadsheet: each group is a block placed on a grid, one day per column and one court per sub-column. You can see at a glance the courts in use, the gaps and the overlaps, and you move a group by dragging it.
1Show the week
In Manage groups, open the lesson's tab, then click Week in the top bar.

- the columns go from Monday to Saturday (Sunday is added if it is used); under each day, one column per court used by the groups;
- the grid starts one hour before the first group and ends one hour after the last;
- each block shows the times, the coach(es) and how full it is (e.g. 2/4); two groups that overlap on the same court are placed side by side;
- a block with a red frame and a numbered badge is in conflict (court, coach, pupil…); hover over it to read the details;
- a group confirmed in the bookings carries a padlock: it can no longer be moved.
2Move a group
Grab a block and drag it:
- up or down to change the time (in steps of 15 minutes, the duration is kept);
- to another day or another court to change the day or the court.
A marker shows the arrival time while dragging. When you release it, the group is saved and a message confirms the new slot (days, times, court). Conflicts are recalculated immediately.
On a tablet or phone: press and hold the block to grab it, then drag. A simple swipe of the finger scrolls the page.
A group that takes place on several days a week appears once per day; you move one occurrence at a time. It cannot be dropped on a day on which it already takes place (message “This group already takes place on that day”).
3The grid options
- Other courses: shows, faded, the groups of the other running lessons of the same sport and season (camps, adult lessons…), to see the courts and coaches already taken. These blocks cannot be moved from here;
- All courts: shows a column for each court of the sport-season, even an empty one, so that a group can be dragged there.
These two choices are remembered on this computer.
4Edit a group from the grid
Click a block (without moving it): the Modify group panel opens (coaches, colour, places, lessons). To create a group, use Add a group; it appears on the grid as soon as it has a day and times.
When the schedule suits you, go back to the Board view to place the pupils (see Place pupils automatically), then confirm the lessons in the bookings.
